You must be able to claim at least 100 points to lodge an Expression of Interest otherwise your application will not be accepted into the pool

You qualify for points for your Expression of Interest based on how well you score on assessment against selected factors The point system is designed to be ranked so that the immigration authorities can extend invitations to apply for residency to those who have the most to offer to New Zealand The more the number of points you score the greater are your chances of obtaining an invitation to apply for residency You need to score at least 100 points to have a chance of entering the Expressions of Interest Pool

You can qualify for additional points over and above the points you score against the selected factors in your Expression of Interest Bonus points are available for employment work experience and qualifications in identified areas of growth or absolute skill shortage or within identified clusters They are also offered for employment outside Auckland for some qualifications gained in New Zealand over at least two years and for a partners recognized qualifications or skilled employment in New Zealand

Study Visas

All students are required to obtain a student authorization and visa before proceeding to any country for their studies Admission to an institution does not guarantee the issuance of students visa Students must meet the requirement of the immigration Acts and Regulations of the respective countries

It is recommended that a student must allow three months to process their application

After the student has signed the agreement with us we start applying on his behalf to various colleges and universities On getting the acceptance letter from the university the student is required to generate the documents in the visa process International University degrees are offered at three consecutive levels Bachelor Master and Doctoral The possession of a degree from the lower level is generally a prerequisite for the admission to the next Some universities also offer diploma and certificate courses which require one or two years of study in a specific field or discipline

All the universities and colleges require certified copies of documents and academic records Students have to take the test of English ability IELTS or TOEFL and must obtain an average score of 550 on the TOEFL paper based test or 250 on the computer based test IELTS is also widely acceptable with an average band of 6 5 These scores may vary for different colleges and universities A customized service is provided to students after they have signed the agreement with WWES and opted for a country of their choice to pursue future studies

Visitor Visas

To make an application for a Visitors Visa or Permit or a Limited Purpose Visa or Permit you will need to supply

a completed signed Application for Visiting New Zealand NZIS 1017 form

a recent passport size photograph

evidence of your financial support while in New Zealand This may be

NZ $1000 per each person for each month or

NZ $400 for each person for each month if your accommodation is already paid you will need to show evidence such as prepaid hotel vouchers
Evidence of funds can be in the form of travellers cheques bank draft letters of credit or a bank statement in your name Cash or credit cards may be accepted as evidence of funds

If you do not have the required funds you will need a guarantee of accommodation and maintenance from a New Zealand citizen resident friend or relative who lives in New Zealand and is able to be your sponsor
Your sponsor should complete the Sponsorship Form for Visiting New Zealand NZIS 1025

For a Visitors Visa or Limited Purpose Visa you may also be asked to supply

evidence of onward travel

valid ticket to a country to which you have right of entry or

guarantee of repatriation from a New Zealand citizen or resident friend or relative who lives in New Zealand and is able to be your sponsor Your sponsor should complete the Sponsorship Form for Visiting New Zealand NZIS 1025 or

sufficient funds in New Zealand to purchase a ticket to a country to which you have the right of entry

any other documents or information requested by a Visa Immigration officer

For a Visitors Permit or Limited Purpose Permit you must also supply

evidence of onward travel

valid ticket to a country to which you have right of entry or

a guarantee of repatriation from a New Zealand citizen or resident friend or relative who lives in New Zealand and is able to be your sponsor Your sponsor should complete the Sponsorship Form for Visiting New Zealand NZIS 1025 or

sufficient funds in New Zealand to purchase a ticket to a country to which you have the right of entry

any other documents or information requested by a Visa Immigration Officer

Special Provisions exist for

dependent children travelling without parents or with one parent

Spouses and de facto partners of New Zealand citizens and residents

Visitors intending to marry New Zealand citizens or residents
